| A few pics, and then some words: Lining up to caravan for some food
A great example of the difference between TT and NA acceleration (although, it is made even more extreme since I was fiddling around with the camera and couldn't really 'get on it' at the same time)

The return trip (I was riding the line in an attempt to get a nice shot through the bumpercam of the Z's taking off, but unfortunately the bumpercam was a no-go.)
And then there's this guy... I passed this guy on the drive home today, and had to slow down and let him pass so I could get a shot of his vanity plate. If I am reading it right, it says " I love touchin' " ? A fifties-something bleach blonde white guy was driving it.
First off, I would like to say thanks to Tim for arranging the get-together. I have been trying to make it out to some area Z events (usually the ECZA meets) but there has always been a conflict of some sort up until this weekend. It was great to put some faces to some of the screennames that I see around here, and to meet some new people as well. I am terrible with names, but it was great to meet Hoss, Ragtpz, ImTheDevil, A Mean Z, MickieMagic, and of course SilverTwin(OH), as well as a few others. I had planned to try and get some nice vid footage, and maybe make a short compilation to share here on twinturbo.net, but unfortunately I didn't have the best of luck. The VCR that I bought at a pawn shop shortly before I left for the meet was apparently broken, and so none of the footage from my "bumpercam" (full color mini spycam) was recorded. I haven't had a chance to really check out the footage from my 8mm camcorder, but I am guessing that only a few bits and pieces turned out very well. I also was unfortunate enough to have my key break off in my passenger door, but luckily I had a spare inside of the car. Another bit of good news is that I know for a fact now that the suction cup camera mount will withstand speeds in excess of 100mph without any trouble. ;-)
